Spirituality is the ultimate form of personal development. It’s at the apex of the Tree of Life, the Kabbalah tool that we use in our coaching system.

Spirituality doesn’t have to mean joining a religion. And it doesn’t have to mean sitting in meditation every day. In fact, spirituality can be found in any activity that absorbs your attention. The zen masters study the universe using flower arranging, sword fighting, and the tea ceremony. What is important is the single pointed attention to the physical activity.

Sports which demand total attention are deep wells of spirituality. Things like rock climbing, where a misplaced foot or hand hold could lead to disaster. Or surfing…
