Brain atrophy and sleep
By Best_nlp_admin on September 4, 2014

Recent research from Claire Sexton of Oxford University has given another reason to help our hypnosis clients get a good nights sleep!
The research shows that poor quality sleep patterns are associated with greater brain atrophy in older adults (60+).
What this means is that if you don’t sleep well, your brain shrinks! Yikes! What better reason do you need to learn how to get a good night’s sleep right now!
Results: Poor sleep quality was associated with reduced volume within the right superior frontal cortex in cross-sectional analyses, and an increased rate of atrophy within widespread frontal, temporal, and parietal regions in longitudinal analyses. Via neurology.org
